| P & E Manufactures top quality marine hatches and uses
one of the best types of aluminum, the 5086-H112
grade, which has excellent corrosion characteristics. We also
anodize all of our hatches to make them even more restistant
against corrosion and we install an aluminum strongback on longer
an wider models for reinforcement. We also use the best type
of gasket available, the neoprene, which has a triangular
profile and a weather strip backing to prevent leakeage. Our
hatch flanges are built with 304 grade stainless steel
and drain gutters can be installed for reinforcement and to
prevent water damage. |
